Directions: Tram
Take line 9 towards Kungssten (the fastest option) or line 3 towards Marklandsgatan.
Both of these lines run from Gothenburg Central Station and Brunnsparken. Journeys take about 15 minutes and trams run every 5–10 minutes.
Get off at the stop Vagnhallen-Majorna. The hotel is a five-minute walk from the stop.
From the north (E6)
Follow the signs for Fredrikshamn. Take the right-hand lane through the Tingstad tunnel. Immediately after the tunnel turn right, following the sign for Fredrikshamn. Then follow the EU signs for D+DK. After the Göta tunnel continue straight on, following the signs for Kiel. Take the exit for Kiel – Klippan Ö and turn right and then immediately left. Follow the road along the river towards the bridge abutment for about 500 metres. The road ends at the hotel.
From the south (E6)
Leave the motorway at the Åbro junction and follow the signs for Hamnar (harbours). After passing through the Gnistäng tunnel follow the signs for Kiel. Take the exit for Kiel – Klippan Ö. Turn left at the traffic lights (drive under the motorway). Take left at the next junction and follow the road towards the bridge. The road ends in front of the hotel.
From the east (E20)
Follow signs for Centrum (centre), then Hamnar (harbours) and EU signs for D+DK. At the Tingstad junction before the Tingstad tunnel, continue following the EU signs for D+DK (keep in the right-hand lane, don’t follow the signs for Hisingen). After the Göta tunnel continue straight on, following the signs for Kiel. Take the exit for Kiel – Klippan Ö and turn right and then immediately left. Follow the road along the river towards the bridge abutment for about 500 metres. The road ends at the hotel.
From the east (highway 40, Landvetter Airport)
Follow the signs for Centrum (centre) past Liseberg amusement park and then follow the signs for Hamnar (harbours). At the Tingstad junction, before the Tingstad tunnel, follow instead the EU signs for D+DK (keep in the right-hand lane, don’t follow the signs for Hisingen). After the Göta tunnel continue straight on, following the signs for Kiel. Take the exit for Kiel – Klippan Ö and turn right and then immediately left. Follow the road along the river towards the bridge abutment for about 500 metres. The road ends at the hotel.
From Hisingen via Älvsborg bridge
Keep to the right-hand lane over the bridge. Follow signs for Centrum (centre).
After the bridge follow the signs for Kiel – Klippan Ö and turn left at the traffic lights and left again at the next junction. Follow the road along the river towards the bridge abutment for about 500 metres. The road ends at the hotel.
