Here you sleep in antique iron beds in rooms restored with hand painted wallpaper. Just like in the times of great grandmothers.
A stones throw to the northwest lies the lake of Hornborgasjön, Spectacular each spring and autumn as resting place for tens of thousand of migrating birds. A wonderful place to witness the Trandansen or courtship dance of the Crane (Grus grus). Nästegården Bed and Breakfast offers unique and comfortable accommodation in a lovingly restored “flygel” or annexe in the tranquil surroundings of Sätuna. Using traditional craftsmanship and materials, the house has been rejuvenated. An aeshetic from mid 1800 has been recreated with hand made wallpaper, original colour schemes using natural paints, hand blown window panes and original wood floors. The kitchen boasts an old Husqvarna wood burning stove for cooking, the bathroom retains charm, but meets modern requirements. We have created a genuine and peaceful atmosphere. The beds are iron framed and the breakfast is cooked on the stove using locally sourced ingredients.
