Four log cabins from the 18th century that were completely renovated in 2015. Three cottages are used as accommodation for the guests and a fourth cottage serves as a service house with a large, modern, fully equipped kitchen and a luxurious bathroom shared by the guests in the cabins "Trollet" and "Ekorren" plus an extra WC. The "Elk" cottage has its own luxurious bathroom within the cottage. All bathrooms have underfloor heating. The beds in all cottages are new and comfortable. Wood-fired sauna is available for rent. The cottages are located in the middle of nature in a lovely typical dalecarlian environment about 13 km north from Orsa. From Tallhed it is not far to the famous nature reserve Koppången (hiking and cross-country skiing area, dog sled area) and it is also not far from Orsa Grönklitt (ski resort for both length and alpine skiing, etc.). The waterfalls Helvetesfallet and Storstupet are just neaarby.
