Villa Björkhagen is situated in marvellous scenery overlooking Lake Vättern. We offer about 200 camping plots with electricity and a number of plots with water, wastewater and cable TV facilities. A holiday village with well-equipped self-catering cottages and rooms of different standards.
Conference facilities are also available in the light, modern surroundings of Villa Björkhagen. The premises can take up to 40 participants. Creative staff are on hand to tailor-make an exciting extra-curricular activity programme for you. There is a fully licensed restaurant and freshly baked bread is served every day.
You can play mini-golf or hire small pedal cars. There are also a number of playgrounds for the children. Rosenlundsbadet, one of Scandinavias most popular swimming pools is only a short walk from Villa Björkhagen. Kinnarp Hockey Arena, the Elmia exhibition complex, The local concert hall, racquet centre and bowling hall are all not far away either.
To reach the city centre, which is 3 km to the west, you can either walk along the beach promenade or catch a local bus which stops just 400 m from the site. We can warmly recommend a visit to the beautiful city park with its small animals and large playgrounds.
Jönköping has several interesting museums including the County Museum with the country's largest collection of the artist John Bauer's work, and the Matchstick Museum. Every Saturday all year round there is a large market in the city square attracting people from far and near.
The neighbouring town of Huskvarna has a fine industrial museum which is well worth a visit or why not drive 40 km north and visit the picturesque summer town of Gränna where you can watch rock candy being made or take the ferry to the island of Visingsö and drive horse-drawn carriages.
